A gift to the Jesup is a gift to the community.
The Jesup is a private nonprofit 501(c)3 that serves as the public library for the Town of Bar Harbor. Our services are free to all, but do cost money to provide. Your donation gives children and youth a safe space to develop a love of learning; gives knitters, ESL learners and writers a place to get together; and creates opportunities for the library to host authors, lectures, plays, dances, concerts and so much more.

Annual Book Sale
