SUMMER FUN STARTS HERE!

Just because the school year is over doesn’t mean the fun of reading has to stop! Join the Jesup Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Program for a season packed with exciting programs, crafts and activities, and endless adventures in the pages of your next favorite book.

Our theme for Summer 2024 was “Read, Renew, Repeat!” Check back to see what are theme for Summer 2025 will be!

You’re invited to our weekly Summer Reading Programs!

Last year we had a blast with our Summer Reading Kickoff, making bee homes with the Bar Harbor Garden Club, Nature Photography Workshop with Katherine Emery, Mr. Drew and his Animals, Too!, Story and Craft at the Dawnland Festival, Singing with Sarah, Adventures with Flor, Discover Plants with Maine Outdoor School, Park Ranger Story Time with Acadia National Park, and Zine Workshop with Island Readers and Writers!

SUMMER READING BINGO

During our summer reading program, you can sign up for Summer Reading BINGO and play all summer long to earn great prizes! Please note:  All Summer Reading prizes must be picked up at Jesup Memorial Library.  This program is for readers ages 0-18.  If you have any questions, please email Abby (amorrow@jesuplibrary.org)

How does BINGO work?
Each week, we’ll release a new BINGO sheet. Kids can choose between the “Reading Together” card and the “Independent Reading” card. Complete one row on the BINGO card to earn one ticket. Complete the entire card and earn 5 tickets plus a special raffle ticket for a weekly prize!

Check back at the end of the school year to sign up for summer reading BINGO!
