Libby
The Hancock County Download Library collection, also available through the Libby app, offers Jesup Memorial Library patrons a growing collection of e-books and e-audiobooks, and magazines compatible with Kindle Paperwhites and other devices. CloudLibrary
Download ebooks and audiobooks using your library card. You can download books on your phone or tablet or on any device where you can download the CloudLibrary App. You can also read books right on your desktop. CloudLibrary is part of the Maine State Library system and new items are being added all the time and there are books that are always available for download.
COMIcsplus
ComicsPlus provides access to a collection of over 20,000 comics and graphic novels, which are all available all the time, and there is no check out limit. You can download the ComicsPlus app or read on your desktop. For information on how to login, click here.
Digital Maine Library
Thousands of magazines, newspapers, and reference books are available anywhere in the State of Maine through the online resources of the Digital Maine Library. The Digital Maine Library provides every resident of Maine with access to online resources that include a collection of full text articles and abstracts from magazines, newspapers, journals and reference. It also provides students, business people, public library patrons, and higher education students and educators the ability to use online learning tools.

A fully searchable digitized database of local newspapers (Mount Desert Herald, Bar Harbor Times and Bar Harbor Record) from the 1880s through the 1960s. You can create a free account which lets you download images of the papers.
