After an extraordinarily wet summer here in Maine, we move into the winter season which invites us to get cozy and warm indoors, and curl up with a good book. What if that book could serve as a source of insight, hope and thought-provoking discussion with friends, neighbors and community members?

This January, a Climate to Thrive will begin their climate book club at the Jesup Library. We will gather once a month to discuss essays and texts by writers from frontline communities, Indigenous leaders, climate scientists, longtime organizers and artists, and many others.
Books will be provided. 10 spaces are available.
