Meet the Jesup’s new Library Director Matt DeLaney during an open house at the library.

Matt previously was the Director at the Millinocket Memorial Library, where he was a recipient of the Maine Library Association’s Outstanding Librarian of the Year. While there they completed a $2M building renovation, established a Digital Learning Lab, launched a nationally-recognized outdoor gear-lending program, and formed Mobilize Katahdin, a grassroots COVID-19 relief effort in the Katahdin region. Before joining the Millinocket Memorial Library, Matt worked for the Onondaga County Public Library in Syracuse, NY and was the director at the Tully Free Library in Tully, NY and the Manlius Library in Manlius, NY.
