Plein Air Painters of Acadia Art Work on Display in January

Stop by the Jesup to see the artwork of the Plein Air Painters of Acadia (PAPA) during the month of January. This group of outside painters whose work will be on display inclues Beverly Bono, Margaret Beaulieu, Jean Forbes, Christine Swersey, Vicky Smith Fernald, Liz Cutler and Linda Rowell-Kelley.

The artwork on display at the library will be paintings the group has done throughout the spring, summer and fall of 2019. The painters, in groups ranging from two to six, meet at various locations in towns all over the island. Some of the places they have painted at include at the Kelley Farm Community Garden in Bernard, Thurston’s, Seawall in Manset, Charlotte Rhoades Park and Butterfly Garden in Southwest, the town dock in Seal Cove, the Somesville Historical Society building, the Jesup Trail in Bar Harbor, Agamont Park, Seal Harbor Beach and the Asticou Gardens.
