Celebrate National Library Week with programs at the Jesup Memorial Library. National Library Week is a nationwide celebration of libraries happening this year between Sunday, April 7 and Saturday, April 13.
On Thursday, April 11 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., join Jesup board member Mike Hastings as he offers guided tours of the library. Hastings has been studying the history of the building and will show you some of the hidden nooks and that are often not open to the public. If you want to see what is in the attic or what the lower rotunda looks like this is your chance.
Then on Friday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. make your own book-themed craft. Use some of our discarded books to make a mod-podge craft or create a flower out of book pages. Drop in during the day and make your own masterpiece.
