Enjoy a night of music on the baroque harp with Phoebe Durand-McDonnell on Saturday, July 13 at 7 p.m. at the Jesup Memorial Library. Durand-McDonnell, who is from Bar Harbor, began studying harp at age ten and just graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory with a major in harp performance and a minor in music history.
Durand-McDonnell recently received a Fulbright to study historical harp performance in the Department of Musique Ancienne at the École de Musique in Geneva, Switzerland. She previously had studied the baroque harp for a summer in the Czech Republic.
