Age By Design: Medicare Update

Are you turning age 65, are you Medicare eligible still working and covered under a Group Health Insurance Plan, are you already covered under a Medicare Plan and not sure if you have the right coverage? If you answer yes to any of the above, this educational seminar is for you!

During this presentation, we will cover all the above and more, including an overview of Medicare Part A, Part B, Part C and Part D. Learn about Original Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Medicare through Private Health Plans, the advantages and disadvantages, Medicare Prescription Drug plans and the various Medicare enrollment periods and the related eligibility requirements.

Learn about New Proposed State Legislation and how it may affect you!

You will also learn when to enroll in Medicare and how? What are the benefits of Medicare that you have worked and paid for? What are the penalties for not enrolling when eligible? What is the Medicare “Buy In” (do you qualify)? All this and more!

Carroll Harper has over 4 decades of experience in assisting individuals with their Medicare options. He has authored CE courses on both Medicare and Long Term Care Insurance. His articles have appeared in local, State, Regional and National publications. He has been active in State Legislature working with representatives to improve both Medicare and Long Term Care Insurance through meaningful legislation. He authors a quarterly newsletter for attorneys, accountants, financial planners and brokers on the subject of Medicare and Long Term Care Insurance. Each year he is a sought after guest speaker for various groups, such as the Lions Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, Rotary Clubs and other various organizations and groups.
