Author Talk and Book Signing: Michael Koryta “How It Happened” on Tues., July 31

In New York Times-bestselling author Michael Koryta’s new book “How It Happened” FBI investigator Rob Barrett stakes his name on the confession of a notorious jailhouse snitch. But, when the bodies are found more than 200 miles from where she claimed they were Barrett is forcibly reassigned and begins to try to discover what really happened. Join Koryta for an author talk and book signing at the Jesup Memorial Library on Tuesday, July 31 at 7 p.m.

Stephen King has called Koryta “a master” and called “How It Happened” “perfect summer reading.” #1 New York Times-bestselling author Sandra Brown writes, “This gripping and absorbing story about a protagonist coming to terms with his conflicted past, a lost love, and a crime determined not to be solved, could only be penned by Michael Koryta, whose sense of place, and insight into the human spirit, are unsurpassed.”

Books will be on sale that night courtesy of co-sponsor Sherman’s Books and the talk is co-sponsored by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.
