Join State Rep. Brian Hubbell and Lori Parham, Executive Director of AARP Maine, on Saturday, April 7 at 1:30 p.m. to learn about the policies before the state legislature related to aging in Maine. This talk, which is part of Age By Design, will happen at the Bar Harbor Town Office on the third floor. Resolutions on support for family caregivers and affordable housing are just some of the issues that AARP Maine is monitoring during this session and Hubbell will summarize current and recent policy before the legislature related to aging.
The next Age By Design Talk will be on Saturday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jesup Memorial Library. This panel discussion with Bill Tymoczko, the owner of the law firm Fellows, Kee, Tymoczko and Pierson; Peter Nicholson, Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager at First Advisors; and Elise Frank, a financial advisor at Edward Jones, will focus on wills and power of attorney as well as setting up retirement and end-of-life financial planning.
